That time again
The World Series Main Event is almost here. Other than the Aruba poker classic this is the tournament I look forward to most every year. My starting date is July 6th, and I can't wait. It's not just the tournament itself that is so great; it is everything that surrounds the biggest tournament of the year. All the hype, media, sponsorship, and of course money that goes with the WSOP makes it a very exciting event to play.
I am heading back down Thursday to play two more events before the main. While I'm there I have a few more cool things to do as well. On July 1st I will be attending the UB WSOP party at the Palms. If this party is anything like the parties in years past it will be a blast. One thing is for sure, the people at UltimateBet know how to throw a party for their players. From July 3rd- July 6th there will be an Aruba booth at the lifestyle show at the Rio. I will be at the booth quite a bit during the 3 days so come by and say hi. I've also heard that July 3-4 they are having live auditions for The Best Damn Poker Show part 2 at the Rio, in the Belize room from 12-4. I'm hoping I get to have a hand in the judging of these, because the auditions for the first show were very good and entertaining. It should be an exciting few weeks.
