Bad Beat Story For Us All
I have just sent to the national democratic headquarters a story about my badest bad beat of last year, and in fact, ever. It's a sad story, as sad as they come about how my freedom was taken away from me, how I no longer have the right to spend my money the way I want too. Last year a law was pushed thru the congress and senate, cleverly tacked on to the port security bill where a few republican lawmakers would not see it, making it against the law to send our money to a poker site to play poker...Hans from Germany, jose from Mexico and even Ivan from Russia still have their freedoms, but we as Americans, grandma's, mothers, disabled American veterans who have fought wars to preserve these freedoms can no longer sit down at our computer and enjoy matching wits, bluffing, winning or losing, still enjoying our favorite past time Texas Hold'em, now if this ain't a bad beat story, I don't know one to tell, the accidental folding of quad fours after the turn(due to trying to play 4 games at one time) the time I had three queens, and there were two clubs on the board, the river brought a club I was gazing so intently upon that club that I only realized it gave me a full boat after I've already folded, do I consider those bad beats ? No. They just taught me to play fewer games at one time and to stop and think sometimes, I advised the democratic party that the united states had 3-5 million voters, poker players and their friends and relatives who could vote and would vote on senators and congressmen and congresswomen, some of who play poker and would right this bad beat, most bad beats can't be changed, the hand is over, the cards reshuffled, but this one bad beat can be changed if we all band together as one and say I'm mad as heck and I ain;t going to take it anymore.
