Cracked Aces Bad Beat Story

Recently, when playing in a $100 buy in Scheduled Multi Table Tourney I was handed the worst beat I've ever received. It was a couple of hours into the poker tournament, approximately 2/3 of the field had been eliminated. I was still alive, but I was being forced to practice my short stack game as I only had a little more than $1000 left in my stack. For the last 45 minutes, it seemed like all I was being dealt was junk. To add to my frustration, it seemed like every third or fourth hand that I folded would have flopped a set or two pair. Then I finally got dealt a great starting hand - AA - and I was in the big blind. The big stack to my left opened with a minimum raise, two of the next four called the raise, the fifth re-raised, then a series of folds until it got to me. Naturally, I pushed all in, which was only a raise of a couple hundred. The big stack to my left followed suit and raised with his own all in, to my surprise, one of the others followed him all in. When their cards were turned up, I was ecstatic - they both had pocket Jacks. I was going to more than triple up - just what I needed to get back in the tournament. Then came the flop, two more jacks - just kidding - it was Q,8,4. The turn was a 9, then the river - a 10, giving them a queen high straight and knocking me out of the poker tournament.

I've lost pocket AA to pocket KK that ended up with a set, I've lost with an Ace high flush to an unpaired board when another player had the straight flush, but neither of them felt nearly as sick as losing pocket AA to two players that both had pocket JJ when they were dealt a straight.
